Create a training class record any time you want to document classroom work (which typically takes place indoors without your dog). Training class records are displayed on the Records page just like any other K9 record for training or deployment activities.

Viewing and editing a training class record

Click on a training class record row to open the record in the editor. From here you can view and edit any details.

Training class records support the PackTrack record review system, so supervisors can accept or reject records and the handler will be notified. They are also a great place to store any K9 training documents received at the class.

What counts as a training class in PackTrack?

Any classroom-based instruction, such as seminars, certifications, or department briefings, that takes place without your dog.

Can I attach files like certificates or handouts to a training class record?

Yes. Use the document storage feature on the record to upload any materials received during the class.

How is a training class record different from a regular training record?

Training class records are for classroom work only. Regular training records are for field exercises with your dog.

Do training class records go through supervisor review?

Yes. Supervisors can accept or reject training class records the same way they review other records.
